  The Totnes Art Society was formed in 1985 for the promotion and practice of fine arts.

The aim of the Society is to encourage participation in, and appreciation of, various aspects of the arts, but in particular, drawing and painting in all media. We believe in providing a programme and environment which will encourage members to develop and improve their skills and appreciation of art.

Totnes Art Society is an association of artists of all levels of ability.  You will find our programme for the coming year on the Programme page. A sample of members' work is in the Gallery.

We have a varied programme of events, including:

• regular monthly demonstrations by our own, or guest artists
• at least one annual exhibition of our work
• weekly painting sessions
• workshops
• excursions

We Welcome New Members

The Totnes Art Society welcomes new members of all abilities, from novice to professional standard.
